Margherita Pasta!
This is a really simple, delicious recipe that can pack a nice spicy punch of you wanna put in enough red pepper flakes. Also, you can use white whine instead of white grape juice, but I usually just use the juice. Because I can't buy wine anyway lol /no1
Annnd sorry I don't actually have like... measurements and stuff. I never measure I jsut put in a LOT of flavah!! Majah Flavah!
Margherita Pasta
Vegetable Oil
Minced Garlic
42 oz Diced Tomatoes (three cans)
Basil
Red Pepper flakes
White Grape Juice (NOT Juicey Juice)
1 lb Bowtie pasta
Fresh Basil
Grated Parmesan Cheese
Chicken (optional)
Open tomatoes and drain thoroughly.
While boiling pasta, place oil in hot frying pan or wok over medium-medium high heat. Add generous amount of garlic. Cook for a minute or two until slightly browned. Add tomatoes, basil, and red pepper flakes. Mix, then add white grape juice (maybe about a cup…? I’m really not sure…) Reduce heat to medium and cover. Simmer for about 5 minutes, then taste-test. There should be some white-grape-juice flavor. If not, add in more juice and let simmer again until pasta is done.
Drain pasta. Mix tomatoes in with pasta. Top with grated parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
